It's been one week since our last retreat...

Updated: Jun 15

It was a rainy weekend with power outages, internet loss, no cell service, flooding… and yet with all of that, all of the uncertainty if the retreat was even going to happen, we mamas came together and had an amazing weekend together. We talked, we drank, we painted, we vision boarded, we ate… we ate a lot 😂 and it was glorious to not have to feed any picky little eaters! We also killed it in a hiit workout outside under the absolutely beautiful forest trees (I can still hear the creek rushing), our yoga session was inside where floor to ceiling windows surrounded us and we flowed to an amazing playlist. We got to relax or sleep to a transcending sound bath that quite literally takes all the thoughts out of your head and fills it with healing sound. And Massages. Oh the massages… we were blessed with a massage therapist that gave us all bed head and sleepy eyes in the best kind of way 🙌🏽

All of that was amazing, but what is always really profound about these retreats is the fact that we are all in the season of life where motherhood has taken over. When we're all together we can openly talk about how that fact makes us feel, how we deal with it, the challenges that come with it, and how the hell we can get through it all while trying to keep a smile on our faces (ps you don't always have to smile through it, happy is not the only emotion we have nor our children). So, to be able to openly talk without interruption or distraction with other moms is probably the most beautiful part of the weekend.

Anyways, enough of that! Let's talk about what's next at Calm

  1. Day Retreats! We know its not always easy to get away for a weekend so we're planning our first day retreat for this Spring in Alameda, Ca.

  2. Weekend Retreat! Our next weekend retreat will be this Summer, possibly in Southern California so stay tuned!
